Our story

A Culinary Legacy Since 1980

A passion to cook and serve, that started from a group of lucky friends in the Yadav family house, quickly spread across their acquaintances all those years ago. The food and parties that they hosted back in the day would be the talk of their friends, family, and anyone who ever visited the Yadav house.  “The passion to cook and serve is in my blood. The legacy started with my father all those years ago, and today I carry that legacy of impeccable culinary talents, and a passion to serve through my venture, Blue Plate.” Says Mr Deepak Yadav, a culinary enthusiast and Founder of Blue Plate Catering India. “It’s like they could taste the love in the food that my Father served, and my intention is to carry on that sensation, through the exemplary service and food record that Blue Plate holds.” Armed with his culinary expertise, a small passionate team, and the love of his family and friends, Deepak set out to do just that. 30 years later, Blue Plate is one of the most popular bespoke catering businesses in Delhi NCR, and soon across India.

Our Founder

Blue Plate, a creation by Mr Deepak Yadav, is the culmination of his decade long culinary journey. The flavour of good food, a beauteous presentation, the flair of exemplary service, and the allure of live culinary experiences, go hand in hand with hosting an amazing wedding or event. The desire to indulge his F&B talents into providing Patrons with the best culinary experience on their special day drives the Blue Plate visionary. These emotions are synonymous with Blue Plate’s beliefs and promise.  Formed with the dreams of curating an exclusive Culinary Experience, so far, Blue Plate has succeeded well.  For Deepak, this realization of the importance of a wholesome dining experience and the desire to share his talents with the world in this regard gave birth to the idea of Blue Plate.

Deepak Yadav

Deepak is, a passionate food enthusiast and lawyer turned F&B expert, is the brains and brawns behind Blue Plate.  Post law graduation, Deepak dived head-on into his passion for all things F&B. Originally involved with the popular franchise Moti Mahal, he moved on to conquer another endeavour, building his premier catering business.  Deepak is the F&B expert behind the operation. Spending a fair amount of time in the F&B Industry, Deepak equipped himself with the tricks of the trade. And together with Ameesha, his wife and co-Founder, Deepak is now a successful owner of several ventures. After establishing an authentic traditional Indian sweet business, Laung Elaichi, Deepak has set his sights on the savoury world, with the goal of being the best catering service in Delhi/NCR, and soon across the country. A major people’s person, Deepak’s passion, patience and hard work, has brought Blue Plate to the foreground. His passion for food is often mirrored in what he eats, as Deepak is very particular about cuisine and passionate about good soulful food.  “I am just addicted to good food. I only ever serve what I would happily eat myself, and I never compromise on quality. Whether it’s of food, or service” Deepak Yadav, Founder of Blue Plate Catering. His passion for curating tasteful and quality experiences for our guests and patrons is only bound to take Blue Plate further!
